About Meridian Essays

Meridian Essays is a one-person practice. You work with me directly — there's no team, no account manager, and nobody else reading your drafts.

I'm an undergraduate at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. I went through the US application process recently and as an international applicant, which is the specific vantage point I coach from. That's a different thing from thirty years as a school counselor, and it's worth being clear about which one you're hiring.

What recency actually gets you: the process as it currently works, the essays that currently land, and a memory of how confusing it is when the people advising you have never done it from outside the US system.

I take twelve students per cycle so that everyone gets written feedback on every draft inside 72 hours. That constraint is the whole model.

What I'm not: an admissions officer, an agency, or affiliated with any university's admissions decisions. I coach writing. That's the entire offer.
